Traditional napkins and paper towels are made in what is called the wetlaid process, using water and other liquids to bind the paper fibers together. The results from this process are thin, rough sheets, that often come in 2 or 3 ply (with added expense) to give you a better feeling product.
Airlaid Paper is made with a unique and exclusive process using air instead of liquid to give you a "fluffy" luxurious feeling, exceptional well performing paper product.
Airlaid is:
- Softer
- Stronger
- More absorbent
- More durable
- Does not easily break apart
- Reduces total napkin usage
- Has an appearance similar to linen
- Provides better quality to user
- Can be easily customized
Comparitive Applications:
Usage is dramatically reduced in comparitive foodservice and hospitality applications Restrooms: 1 is used instead of the average 3-4 c fold or hand towels.Tableservice: 1 is used normally through out entire meal as opposed to 2-3 of ordinary napkins (the amount of regular napkins used is even greater in particular food foodservice areas, i.e.,Bar B Que, seafood, foods with sauces or gravies, etc.)
Hospitality Applications: replaces towel usage and damage in hotels when used for makeup removal as well as shoe shining applications. No more stained and ruined guest towels, from these harsh dyes.
Catering: use instead of rented linens, no more hauling dirty linens back and forth, no more lost linen charges and no more accidentally using frayed or unsightly linens. Touch of Linen (r) is a sanitary alternative to using washed "linens."
Catering facilities may also use Touch of Linen (r) as a profit center, selling the linens, instead of using rented linens
